SHE’S the out-of-control teen who inspired a million memes with her “cash me ousside” outburst on Dr Phil.

But three years on Danielle Bregoli – AKA rapper Bhad Bhabie - has had the last laugh after coining in £3million at the tender age of 16.

This week the Florida-born teen, who was convicted of grand theft and drugs charges at 13, called out boxer Adrien Broner after he sent her a suggestive text.

She shared a screenshot of the 30-year-old’s message – reading “text me crazy girl”- with a video of the Akon hit Locked Up, but he insisted it was an “honest mistake” and he had no idea of her age.

So just how did the wayward teen, whose desperate mum threatened to disown her at 13, become a huge star with a bulging bank balance, a reality show and her own make-up brand?

Wild child who stole cars

Danielle - who was brought up by single mum Barbara Ann after she split from partner Ira Peskowitz - first appeared on US TV show Dr Phil in September 2016, after tensions between the two reached breaking point.

In the episode – entitled "I Want To Give Up My Car-Stealing, Knife-Wielding, Twerking 13-Year-Old Daughter Who Tried To Frame Me for a Crime” – Barbara revealed Danielle had falsely reported her mum to the police as a drug user.

She also stole her credit cards and cash, using the money to buy a “stripper pole”, and threatened her with physical violence.

Even as the episode was being filmed, Danielle lived up to her wild child image by stealing a crew member’s car and taking it for a joyride.

When the audience laughed at her, she challenged them to a brawl with the now-famous phrase, “Cash me ousside, how bout dah?”

The clip went viral, inspiring a hit by DJ Suede The Remix God and a range of T-shirts in Walmart.

But Danielle and her mum were not happy, suing three companies for using her newly coined catchphrase without consent.

Punch up on plane

As her internet notoriety soared, Danielle was at Utah’s Turnabout Ranch, a residential home for "troubled teens".

Returning to Dr Phil in February 2017, Danielle said the home had helped, adding: “I just feel OK with who I am now. I don’t have to put on a front to impress anyone.”

But the same week, the pair were banned from Spirit Airlines after Danielle punched a passenger who accused Barbara of taking too long to store her luggage.

The same month Danielle was involved in a brawl outside a bar and, in March 2017, police were called to the home she shares with Barbara and a video emerged which appeared to show the pair fighting.

Danielle later dismissed the incident as "fun and games."

Unlikely rap star at 13

While some were trying to cash in on Danielle's phrase, others saw she had money-making potential in her own right.

At the height of her viral infamy, music managers Adam Kluger and Dan Roof signed her up as an artist – despite zero musical experience.

In February 2017 she starred in Kodak Black’s Everything 1K video, sitting on a Rolls Royce and waving wads of cash.

And just seven months after her first Dr Phil, her debut single These Heaux – released under the name Bhad Bhabie - became a massive hit, making her the youngest ever rapper to enter the Billboard 100 and clocking up over 80 million YouTube views.

Atlantic Records snapped her up and Kluger admits her rebellious behaviour helped.

“The only calculated thing in those seven months was our strategy to keep her actively in headlines,” he told Entrepreneur.com. “Most of that was her doing, whether good or bad. She’s a wild one.”

From theft conviction to making a steal

Trouble was never far away – in July 2017 Danielle was convicted of possession of marijuana, grand theft and filing a false police report, resulting in a five year probation – but her rise to fame continued.

Two remixes and two hit singles followed, but what she needed was a major rebrand – a move away from the “Cash me ousside” girl.

Through videos released on YouTube and social media posts she managed to build up a huge fan base – with 17.2m followers on Instagram and 500k on Twitter.

“Being so young and so unfiltered and so brash made her an excellent fit for social media,” says Dan Roof.

By the end of 2017, Danielle had racked up enough money to even pay off her mum’s £50k mortgage – as a Christmas gift.

£30k per post and £700k make-up deal

In 2018, Danielle had a US tour, a third hit single in Gucci Flip Flops and a nomination as Best Female Rap Artist at the Billboard Music Awards.

But it was social media that really kept the cash rolling in

“She’s probably the most famous 16 year old in the world,” says Kluger.

“People are generally interested in everything she does, whether they like her or not. For an edgy brand, she’s the golden goose.”

She now makes an average of £30,000 per post and last year she bagged an £700,000 deal with CopyCat Makeup and her own reality show Bringing Up Bhabie.

She also has her own merchandise website, Bhad Goods, selling clothing and jewellery from £13 for a belt to £50 for a sweatshirt.

“What you’ve seen is just her own personal growth," says Kluger. "She’s 16 years old. I signed her when she was 13. Anyone that has lived through those years knows a lot of maturing occurs, and a lot of mistakes take place."

Fight with rival rapper in studio

Mistake or not, her wild side continues to emerge. In October last year, she was involved in a fight with rival star Woah Vicky who was seen pinning her down on a sofa and throwing punches in a video circulated online.

Afterwards defiant Dani slammed the men who held her back in the Georgia studio, and saying anyone who thought she was beaten up was "delusional" and there was "not even a lash missing”"

She threw out a challenge to Vicky, saying: “That ain’t no fight baby girl. I want you by yourself.”

I put my daughter on Dr Phil to save her life

Three years on from the infamous TV appearance, Danielle's mum is now her biggest fan and claims she never wanted to put her in care, as the show suggested.

“Any parent who would move heaven and earth, and go on a show, and be embarrassed, truly loves their kid,” she says.

“I put my daughter on that show to save her life."

She added that people will "hate on her now. You know why? She's got a personality. She's got a gift.”

Ironically, the man who launched her career seems unaware of her millionaire alter ego.

In a recent interview Dr Phil McGraw named her outburst as his “moment of infamy”.

“I take no credit or blame. I just did what I could and haven't seen her since," he told podcast host Joe Rogan, adding that he hopes she turned the moment into "something positive".

Little did he know the Bhad girl would turn "Cash me ousside" into hard cash.
